BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - A quarterly state auction for oil drilling rights on North Dakota state land is being held at the state Capitol in Bismarck.

The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1qaJuIo ) that more than 14,115 mineral acres in nine counties will be auctioned Tuesday.

McKenzie County has the most land available for auction, at 9,335 acres. The remaining acreage is located in Billings, Bottineau, Dunn, Hettinger, Mountrail, Renville and Williams counties.
