FAIRBANKS, Alaska (AP) - State road crews are ending seasonal maintenance on the eastern end of the Denali Highway.

The state transportation department says in a release that there will be no snow or ice remove on the end of the highway, which starts at the intersection with the Richardson Highway.

The Denali Highway goes from the Richardson to the Parks highways.

Officials say the western end of the highway, starting at the intersection with the Parks Highway, will be maintained to mile 60 until Oct. 15.
