GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) - Robbery charges have been filed against a woman and a juvenile girl who allegedly attacked a cabdriver and robbed him in southern New Jersey.

Galloway Township police say the incident occurred early Saturday.

The 28-year-old cabdriver told authorities that 18-year-old Nia Wright, of Galloway, and a 17-year-old girl got into his vehicle in Atlantic City. He took them to Galloway and, as they were paying the fare, the 17-year-old allegedly punched him and Wright grabbed the money and fled.

The driver was able to grab the girl and held her until police arrived. Wright was arrested when she returned to the scene to get the juvenile.

A telephone number for Wright could not be located Sunday. It was not known if she or the juvenile have retained attorneys.
