GREELEY, Colo. (AP) - Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a shooter involved in a drive-by on Interstate 25 near Longmont.

The Greeley Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1yWGAz5 ) the shooting happened between Colorado highways 119 and 52 at about 2 a.m. Saturday. The victim, who was treated at a hospital and released, could not give investigators any information about the shooter’s vehicle, other than it was a car rather than a pickup truck.

The victim was driving when his SUV was fired upon. Details about his injuries have not been released.

Weld County investigators believe the shooter was traveling home from El Vaqueras, a nightclub off of Colorado 119 in the Del Camino area.
