CONWAY, S.C. (AP) - Coastal Carolina University is running out of room and the school is looking to expand with a graduate campus in Myrtle Beach within five years.

The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reports (http://bit.ly/ZLwfXn ) that university President David DeCenzo says there is no room to put more students on the school’s campus in Conway, about a dozen miles from the beach.

He says the university is planning for a student body of 12,500. DeCenzo says he would like to have 10,000 students on the present campus and expand with a 2,500-student graduate campus in Myrtle Beach.

Currently, the school has about 9,000 undergraduates and just over 600 graduate students.
