TOWN OF MENASHA, Wis. (AP) - Police have arrested a man in the death of a 68-year-old Town of Menasha man who died during an apparent burglary in his apartment.

Officers were called to the apartment by a neighbor Thursday. The neighbor was checking on a man who had not been seen or heard from that morning and found him apparently dead.

The man lived alone. Police later interviewed a suspect and took the 42-year-old man to jail on a probation hold.

WLUK-TV (http://bit.ly/1z5ctWa ) reports the suspect had been staying with relatives in the same apartment complex.

Police say the victim may have been killed in a confrontation during a burglary gone bad.

An autopsy was scheduled Friday. Police say charges are possible next week.
