TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - A 4-year-old boy has died after being pulled from a midtown pool in Tucson.

Tucson Fire Captain Barrett Baker says the incident occurred Friday afternoon.

All efforts to resuscitate the child were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Tucson police say the boy was not a resident of the apartment complex where the pool is located.

His name wasn’t immediately released.

Police say it was the second drowning of the year in Tucson.
