SUPERIOR, Wis. (AP) - Court documents say the fatal shooting of a Superior man this week was the result of a drug-related attempted robbery.

A criminal complaint filed in Douglas County alleges 17-year-old Chance Andrews shot 20-year-old Garth Velin at the victim’s home Tuesday night.

WDIO-TV (http://bit.ly/1sN0QRQ ) says Andrews is charged with felony murder. Twenty-year-old Kyham Dunn, of Duluth, Minnesota, is charged with party to the crime.

Three additional suspects - ages 17, 18 and 20 - are expected to be formally charged Friday. Prosecutors say Velin sold marijuana and was targeted for his cash.

The complaint says a girl told police that she was with the group that night when they went to Velin’s house and that Andrews told her the gun went off accidentally when he struggled with Velin. Court records do not list an attorney for Andrews or Dunn.
