WORCESTER, Mass. (AP) - One man has been taken to the hospital in critical condition while a second was grazed by a bullet in a shooting at a Worcester apartment complex.

Officers responding to reports of gunfire at the Upland Gardens complex found the victims behind one of the units at about 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

A 19-year-old victim was seriously injured while a 26-year-old victim was just grazed.

Their names were not immediately made public.

There was no word on arrests or suspects and a motive has not been determined.

The preliminary investigation indicates that the victims and another friend were outside in the rear of the apartment when they started arguing with someone else, which developed into a shooting.
