PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Funeral arrangements have been set for a Pennsylvania state trooper accidentally killed in a gun training exercise.

A celebration of David Kedra’s life will be held Sunday evening at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home in Philadelphia. The funeral will take place Monday at Christ the King Church in Philadelphia.

The 26-year-old law enforcement officer was shot in the chest Tuesday during yearly firearms training in Plymouth Meeting. Authorities say another trooper’s gun inadvertently discharged.

According to Kedra’s obituary, he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and skiing. He had enlisted in the force in June 2012.

Kedra was the second trooper to be fatally shot in September, following Cpl. Bryon Dickson’s death in an ambush on Sept. 12.
