ORANGEBURG, S.C. (AP) - Gov. Nikki Haley is meeting again with the trustees of financially troubled South Carolina State University.

The Times and Democrat of Orangeburg reports (http://bit.ly/1rE0rzS ) that the university did not release an agenda for the midday Friday meeting in Columbia. The board and school president Thomas Elzey have been invited.

In June, the state Supreme Court ruled public bodies can change agendas at the last minute and do not have to post them before meetings.

In May, the Budget and Control Board granted a $6 million loan to help the university pay its most urgent bills. The school is to spend $500,000 of that on financial consultants

A committee of current and former state college presidents has determined the school has an $18 million deficit.
