ANALYSIS/OPINION:

In the wake of the discovery that the deadly Ebola virus has made its way into the United States, I would like to compare the positions of Donald Trump and President Obama on the handling of this disease.

Two months ago, when reports went mainstream about the virus spreading in Western Africa, Mr. Trump adamantly said that we should shut down all incoming flights from the infected region. Mr. Obama’s response was to send 3,000 U.S. troops, who have no training in outbreak prevention, to the region — making them susceptible to the disease. Of the two responses, which one is looking out for the best interests of Americans?

Should this disease claim even one American life because of Mr. Obama’s negligence, I say that that should be the final straw that leads to his immediate impeachment. As I see it, we need a president like Mr. Trump, who looks out for our best interests, not one like Mr. Obama who consistently does the opposite. As a security expert recently confided to me, even Mr. Obama’s Secret Service detail wonders just whose side he’s on.
