TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - A Hudson County man has been sentenced to three years in state prison for offering child pornography over the Internet.

John Kondes of Bayonne was one of 27 people arrested in 2012 as part of “Operation Watchdog,” a state-wide investigation.

The 58-year-old Kondes pleaded guilty in August to offering child pornography and possession of child pornography. Investigators say Kondes used Internet file-sharing software to make available files for other users to download.

Investigators say a search of his home revealed discs containing more than 90,000 files of child pornography that had been downloaded over a period of more than 15 years.
