BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Want to ask the candidates in Louisiana’s U.S. Senate race a question?

The Council for a Better Louisiana and Louisiana Public Broadcasting are soliciting questions for their Senate race debate, set for Oct. 14 in Shreveport.

Democratic incumbent Mary Landrieu, seeking a fourth term in office, is locked in a tight race for re-election. Her two main Republican challengers are U.S. Rep. Bill Cassidy and retired Air Force Col. Rob Maness, a tea party favorite.

All three will be at the Shreveport debate.

Debate questions can be submitted by email to debate@lpb.org or online at www.lpb.org/debate . CABL and LPB says some of the questions will be used during the debate, to be held at Centenary College and aired live statewide on public television and on Baton Rouge radio station WJBO.
