SAVANNAH, Ga. (AP) - A high school homecoming game got postponed in Savannah after two teens were shot in two days on the city’s eastside.

Savannah-Chatham school athletic director Ken Traylor says the game between Savannah High and Johnson was postponed Friday night and will be rescheduled.

A school system spokesman says extra security measures were in place Friday at Savannah High because of the shooting Thursday of a 16-year-old less than a mile away from the school and the shooting Wednesday of a 15-year-old slightly more than a mile away. The spokesman told the Savannah Morning News (http://bit.ly/ZCXLXK) that there is no reason to believe the shootings were related to Savannah High.

He said normal operations should resume Monday.
