HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) - Authorities have restricted access to buildings at Trinity College in Hartford after the school received a message from an alumna saying she planned to do something newsworthy on campus.

Deputy Chief Brian Foley says police are treating the incident as a threat, and brought extra resources to the school Wednesday afternoon after a receiving a request from Trinity Officials.

Foley says police are looking for a white female who is being described as 5-foot-3 with a thin build, graying brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say the woman may be driving a 1997 silver Toyota Avalon.

School officials say buildings that are normally unlocked have been locked. School and faculty can use their identification cards to gain access.
