EAST NORTHPORT, N.Y. (AP) - A man has been charged with allegedly pulling his pants down in front of a boy’s locker room at a Long Island middle school.

Suffolk County police say the 45-year-old East Northport man was arrested Thursday.

They allege he dropped his pants in the presence of three East Northport Middle School students who immediately reported the incident to school officials.

He was charged with public lewdness, endangering the welfare of a child and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

According to Newsday (http://nwsdy.li/1pcJyFE ), the school said “at no time was any child approached by the individual.”

The paper says it has withheld the suspect’s name to protect the identities of others present.
