TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Forecasters say the surf is up along the Jersey shore.

The National Weather Service says a coastal low pressure system is likely to produce a high risk for rip currents and wave heights of 5 to 7 feet Wednesday.

Forecasters say the risk will increase from south to north through the day and a moderate risk is likely to continue on Thursday.

Forecasters also say the surf, coupled with heavy rain, could produce minor coastal flooding.
