MURRAY STATE (1-0) at No. 25 LOUISVILLE (1-0), SATURDAY, 7 p.m. ET (ESPN3)

Line: No line.

Series Record: Louisville leads 12-6

WHAT’S AT STAKE

OVC member Murray State faces the first of back-to-back FBS opponents looking to follow up last week’s 73-26 pummeling of NAIA Union College. Louisville is playing on short rest following Monday night’s 31-13 victory over Miami in its ACC debut.

KEY MATCHUP

Murray State’s rushing game vs. Louisville’s defense. Nick Taylor’s 82 yards on 11 carries led four backs with at least 52 yards as the Racers rushed for 298 in their opener. Things will be significantly tougher against the Cardinals, who held Miami to 70 on the ground and 244 overall.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Murray State: Senior QB CJ Bennett had a record-breaking debut against Union, completing 13 of 22 passes for five TDs and 167 yards in his first career start. Five other Racers have thrown that many TDs but he’s the first to do it in his first start.

Louisville: Senior RB Dominique Brown proved he’s capable of carrying a heavy load, posting career bests of 33 carries for 143 yards and a 15-yard TD against Miami. He might not need that many attempts against the Racers but will be expected to get things going with backup Michael Dyer (thigh contusion) still questionable and the backfield rotation still developing.
