NEW ORLEANS (AP) - New Orleans Police have arrested two teenagers, ages 13 and 14, in connection with multiple armed robberies and a carjacking incident.

Police said Monday that both teens were booked into the Juvenile Division on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, illegal possession of stolen property and resisting an officer.

The 13-year-old was also booked with two counts each of armed robbery and use of a firearm during a robbery.

The teen’s names were not released because of their ages. It was unknown if either has an attorney who could address the charges.

Detectives believe the pair might be linked to similar robberies in the New Orleans area and the investigation is ongoing.
