NORTH SIOUX CITY, S.D. (AP) - The South Dakota Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin resurfacing Highway 105 in North Sioux City later this month.

The Transportation Department said Wednesday that the asphalt resurfacing will begin the week of April 13.

The contractor is expected to finish up work on Highway 105 by the middle of May, and traffic is expected to be maintained over the course of the maintenance.

Knife River Midwest will repair the highway. The Sioux City-based company will address the road and shoulders as part of a roughly $700,000 contract.
