CANTON, Ohio (AP) - A northeast Ohio man will serve 10 years in prison for severely injuring two people when he crashed into a vehicle while trying to evade police.

The Canton Repository reports (http://bit.ly/1Jx9iH5 ) 31-year-old Brandon Nicsinger pleaded guilty to four felony charges, including two counts of vehicular assault, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer and driving under suspension.

A judge revoked the Canton resident’s driver’s license for life at sentencing Wednesday.

Prosecutors say Nicsinger had a warrant out for his arrest when he was pulled over June 19. They say Nicsinger sped off and collided with a vehicle after running a stop sign on 11th Street.

A 19-year-old woman suffered a crushed skull, a broken back and other serious injuries. A 21-year-old man suffered a traumatic brain injury.
