OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A Douglas County grand jury found no wrongdoing after investigating the deaths of six people in law enforcement custody or confrontations with police.

The Omaha World-Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1RqCGaP ) that the 16-member jury cleared officers in the six cases on Wednesday, including three in which officers fired their weapons.

The cases included the police shooting death of Marcus Wheeler, a gang member and fugitive who shot and killed Omaha Police Officer Kerrie Orozco in May.

Other cases included the death of Taylor Culbertson, who was fatally shot in June after firing on Douglas County sheriff’s deputies a west Omaha convenience store, and Tiffany Terry, who was fatally shot by police in January after she threw a knife at an officer.
