TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Tampa detectives have arrested a 35-year-old man they say carjacked a woman and her 8-year-old daughter at knifepoint.

The Tampa Tribune (http://bit.ly/1Ze7VY7) reports that the woman was bringing her daughter to school on Wednesday when a man approached them with a knife, yelling for the two to get out of the vehicle.

When they did, the suspect dove away.

Tillery was arrested early Thursday in neighboring Pinellas County and charged with aggravated assault and battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing and alluding during a high speed chase and driving on a suspended or revoked license.

His bond was set at $75,250 and it’s unclear whether he retained an attorney.
