BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Prosecutors have charged a man accused of fatally stabbing a fellow University of Colorado student during an argument in Boulder.

The Daily Camera reports (http://goo.gl/Hp3Nfb ) 22-year-old Ian Scheuermann was charged Thursday with second-degree murder in the death of 26-year-old Sean Hudson, and with menacing for allegedly threatening another man with a knife.

Investigators say Hudson, of Greenfield, Indiana, was stabbed six times, including in the heart and in the neck, during an argument early Saturday morning. Police say Scheuermann told them he was defending himself when Hudson shoved him to the ground and hit him in the face.

Scheuermann’s attorney, Dan Gerash, declined to comment about the case.
