ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A county coroner says a 13-year-old Pennsylvania girl who was struck by a vehicle days ago has died.

The Lehigh County coroner says Ashlee J. Smahaj, of Tobyhanna Township in Monroe County, died Saturday at a hospital.

An autopsy will be done Monday to determine the exact cause of death.

The coroner says in a news release that the teenager was at a street intersection in the township Dec. 13 when she was struck by a vehicle. The coroner and police are investigating.
