SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (AP) - An Associated Press analysis shows there’s at least $4 billion in 530 funds that precedent indicates could be tapped for extra revenue during the current budget stalemate between the Democratic-controlled Legislature and Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner.

Here’s a breakdown of the state budget transfers from special funds during the past 12 fiscal years (figures rounded):

2003, $165 million

2004, $522 million

2005, $506 million

2006, $305 million

2007, $314.5 million

2008, $34 million

2009, $28 million

2010, $287 million

2015, $1.3 billion

Total: $3.4 billion
