GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) - Harrison County authorities say a sex offender arrested in November on six counts of possession of child pornography is facing additional sex-crimes charges.

Sheriff Melvin Brisolara tells The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/21xB8iT) 39-year-old George Joseph Ramp Jr. was arrested on Nov. 18 on charges he possessed images of children engaged in sex acts. Authorities seized various electronic devices.

As part of the ongoing investigation, Brisolara says sheriff’s investigators searched Ramp’s electronic devices and discovered three child victims of the alleged sex crimes, one of whom lives in Jackson County.

As a result, Ramp has been arrested on two additional charges of touching of a child for lustful purposes.

Ramp is being held on a total bond of $300,000.

Online jail records do not list an attorney for Ramp.
