MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) - Students from one Viera school are learning about the justice system with the help of Harry Potter.

Florida Today (http://on.flatoday.com/1N2XLnH ) reports that 120 seventh-graders from Viera Charter School recently held a mock trial at the local justice center. The trial was based on a legal scenario taken from the popular Harry Potter book series.

Teachers say their students’ enthusiasm for the books helped them to become more involved in the mock trial, which involved a negligence case against one of the teachers from Harry Potter’s Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
