NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Low-income veterans who need a hand with estate planning services can soon find help.

Virginia Attorney General Mark R. Herring announced on Monday that a series of Veterans Legal Services Clinics will be held in March. Volunteer attorneys from Herring’s office and the Virginia State Bar will draft wills, powers of attorney and advance medical services pro bono, or free of charge.

The first clinic will be held March 1 in Hampton Roads. Clinics also will be held March 2 in Richmond, March 3 in Roanoke and March 4 in Northern Virginia.

Herring says in a news release that officials anticipate holding additional clinics in the future.

The Virginia Department of Veterans Services also is a partner in the program.
