TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - New Jersey Transit says trains in and out of New York are operating on or close to schedule with some residual delays after earlier delays caused by Amtrak overhead wire problems.

NJ Transit also said Tuesday that the Hudson-Bergen light rail line resumed regular weekday service after it was suspended overnight because of ice on overhead lines.

Cross-honoring is in effect throughout the system and on PATH trains.

NJ Transit warns passengers to be cautious around its facilities and while boarding trains because of icy conditions.
