NEW YORK (AP) - New York City plans to invest $200 million in affordable housing, infrastructure and job initiatives for the southwest Bronx.

The plans include the construction of a new public open space, roads, and remediation to spur development of up to 4,000 units of affordable housing.

The design phase of the program is expected to launch in the coming fiscal year.
