KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) - Get you forks and knives out. The World Food Competition is leaving Las Vegas and heading to Florida.

Officials announced Tuesday that the cooking competition will be held in November in Kissimmee, south of Orlando.

The event had been in Las Vegas for the past three years.

The competition offers $300,000 in prizes, with $100,000 awarded to the grand prize winner.

Cooking categories include dessert, BBQ, chili, sandwich, seafood, bacon, burger and pasta.
