HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) - Hamden police say they have arrested a 15-year-old girl in connection with an attack and robbery in November that left a 19-year-old woman with her clothes torn off and her eyes swollen shut.

Police say the teenager turned herself in Tuesday. She was charged with second-degree robbery; third-degree assault; and larceny. She was transported to the Juvenile Detention Center in Bridgeport pending an appearance in juvenile court in New Haven on Jan. 22.

The arrest comes several days after an 18-year-old woman was charged in connection with the attack.

Police say they found the 19-year-old victim in a Good Samaritan’s vehicle after the attack on Nov. 24. She was naked from the waist down.

She told police she had been attacked from behind, punched, kicked, and knocked to the ground.
