FAYSTON, Vt. (AP) - Two lost skiers are safe after being rescued at Sugarbush Resort.

Vermont State Police say the two men from Burlington went off the trail while skiing at Mount Ellen and became disoriented on Monday.

Police received a report around 5:20 p.m.

The Vermont State Police Search and Rescue team, Sugarbush Ski Patrol and Warren constables were called in to help with the search. The skiers were located quickly.

Police say it was snowing and the skiers were not dressed appropriately for the conditions.
