RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Sen. Mark R. Warner is traveling to India with President Barack Obama.

The Virginia Democrat says he’ll be part of a delegation that arrives in New Delhi on Sunday to attend India’s Republic Day celebration. It marks the 65th anniversary of the adoption of India’s Constitution.

Warner is co-chair of the Senate India Caucus and this will be his third trip to that country.

The delegation is scheduled to return to Washington on Wednesday.
