FARGO, N.D. (AP) - Two tournaments this weekend in Fargo are causing some hotels to be busier than normal.

Hotel managers tell WDAY-TV (http://bit.ly/1zM6Rfl ) that their facilities have seen more bookings than during an average January weekend. So much so, that at least the Ramada Plaza and Suites says it has no vacancy.

The Fargo Youth Hockey Associations Girls’ International Hockey Tournament is in town with about 63 teams and upward of 800 players and their families. Meawhile, the Rumble On The Red wrestling tournament has brought to Fargo nearly 3,000 people.

Jon Wilkey is the Ramada’s assistant general manager. He says the winter storm that affected the area caused some cancellations, those have been negated by the people who have chosen to stay another day at the hotel to avoid traveling elsewhere.
