WASHINGTON (AP) - Police in Washington say they’ve made an arrest in connection with a November shooting in northeast Washington in which two people were injured.

The Metropolitan Police Department said Sunday that the man has been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Police did not name the man but said he lives in northeast Washington. They say he was also charged with carrying a pistol without a permit because he was in possession of firearm at the time of his arrest.

Police say the charges come in connection with a shooting in the 1200 block of Mount Olivet Road northeast on Nov. 18. Two adult men sustained gunshot wounds.
