GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - A 26-year-old man is charged in the fatal shooting of a mother of three in a Green Bay park last month.

Percy Sims is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Sims is accused of killing 39-year-old Krystal Torres-Smith. Her body was found in a parked SUV near the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay on June 8.

Police say the shooting stemmed from a drug deal. Investigators say Sims took two ounces of marijuana from Torres-Smith after he shot her.

Police tracked Torres-Smith’s cellphone to Appleton, where Sims had it. Authorities say they also found the suspected murder weapon at his home there.

WLUK-TV (http://bit.ly/1I3MJNN ) reports a judge set bond at $1 million. Sims is due back in court July 29.
