ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - The Maryland Board of Public Works has approved a $480,000 contract to expand a cemetery for veterans in western Maryland.

The board voted 3-0 for the expansion on Thursday without discussion.

The expansion is to create more burial capacity at the Rocky Gap Veterans Cemetery.
