GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A man charged with murder has surrendered to Greenville County sheriff’s deputies.

The sheriff’s office told local media outlets that 20-year-old Javante Dashawn Geddie of Greenville turned himself in Thursday afternoon.

Geddie is accused of killing 34-year-old Brian O. Wright, who was found shot to death in a road July 9.

Geddie is being held in the county jail. It was not clear if he has an attorney.
