TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - Of the more than 220 inmates who are on the loose after escaping from secure state prisons nationwide, seven are from New Jersey.

Here are the names of those who remain free, with the date of their escape, the prison and what they were convicted of:

- GEORGE WRIGHT, Aug. 22, 1970, Bayside State Prison. He was convicted of the 1962 killing of a Wall gas station and was apprehended in 2011 in Portugal, which refused to extradite him.

- GEORGE BROWN, Aug. 22, 1970, Bayside State Prison. Robbery. Escaped with George Wright and two others.

- MAGNOLIA SHEFFIELD, Mar. 10, 1975, Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women. Murder.

- EDNA ANDERSON, March 20, 1976, Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women. Controlled dangerous substance.

- JOANNE CHESIMARD, Nov. 2 1979, Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women. She was convicted in the killing of a New Jersey state trooper and fled to Cuba, where she received asylum.

- JORGE VERA, Jan. 11, 1984, Central Reception and assignment Facility. Armed robbery.

- ENRIQUE SILVA, May 16, 1995, Riverfront State Prison. Controlled dangerous substance.
