MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) - Authorities say a Medford man accused of running multiple vehicles off the road in a string of incidents has been arrested.

The Mail Tribune reports (http://is.gd/1Mtvtf ) that 18-year-old Richard Nuckols was arrested Tuesday on two counts of third-degree assault, four counts of the unlawful use of a vehicle as a weapon, four counts of recklessly endangering another person and four counts of reckless driving.

Police say Nuckols ran a vehicle off the road on Interstate 5 in south Medford by swerving toward the victims; vehicle. The driver and passenger sustained head and neck injuries in the collision. Later Nuckols again was accused of driving more vehicles off the road.

He was being held at Jackson County Jail on $90,000 bail but has since been released. It is unclear if he has retained a lawyer.
