SAN MARCOS, Texas (AP) - Authorities have identified another victim of the deadly flooding along the Blanco River in Central Texas.

Medical and dental records were used to identify 81-year-old Kenneth Reissig, whose body was found Thursday close to the river near the line separating Blanco and Hays counties.

The circumstances that led to Reissig’s death were not immediately clear.

Officials said Tuesday that eight bodies have now been recovered in the area following the catastrophic flooding that swept through Memorial Day weekend.

Most of the victims and three of those who remain missing in Hays County - a man and two young children - were staying together at a riverside home in Wimberley. The rushing water dislodged the home and carried it downstream where it slammed against a bridge.

Meanwhile, authorities in neighboring Blanco County have found safe the last person on their list of those missing from the Blanco River floods.

A statement issued by Blanco County officials said Bruce Conklin was the final person to be accounted for from its list of flood-related missing persons.

The statement did not specify where Conklin was found Tuesday afternoon. The county statement said that of 18 persons reported missing in Blanco County after the flood, 15 were found safe while three were found dead.

The latest death toll from the holiday weekend storms is 33, including 28 in Texas, and seven still missing - six in Hays County, Texas, and one in Little River County, Arkansas.
