In his home Dallas area the last wo weeks, he tied for second in the Colonial and tied for 30th in the Byron Nelson. … Players Championship winner Rickie Fowler is coming off a 30th-place tie last week in the Irish Open. … Nick Faldo is the tournament honoree. … The FedEx St. Jude Classic is next week in Memphis, Tennessee, followed by the U.S. Open at Chambers Bay in University Place, Washington.

Notes: Top-ranked Lydia Ko is in the field. She won the Canadian Women’s Open as an amateur in 2012 and 2013. … Canadian Brooke Henderson is making her sixth tour start of the year.
