PHOENIX (AP) - A man was arrested after authorities say he fired shots at his neighbors in an argument over loud music.

Two neighbors of 74-year-old Clarence Alvin Britt of Eloy explained he was angered by their loud music and started to yell at them while holding a handgun. He fired several shots, and the neighbors called 911.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office reports that several bullet casings were found on the ground where Britt was standing when he fired the shots.

The sheriff’s office says Britt will be charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct. Sheriff Paul Babeu says Britt has a history of aggressive behavior and firing his gun.
