GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - Someone who purchased a Powerball ticket in Moorcroft is $40,000 richer.

It is the largest Powerball win in Wyoming since the game was introduced last August.

The winning ticket was sold Wednesday at Big Cup, a coffee and fuel stop, about 30 miles east of Gillette.

The store’s sales executive, Toni Robison, tells the Gillette News Record (http://bit.ly/1KiAor2 ) that the lottery called her Thursday with the news, but no one knew who bought the ticket or what time of day it was sold.

In the 10 months that lottery tickets have been sold in Wyoming, some 473,000 WyoLotto players have won more than $4.4 million.
