FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Two University of Arkansas men’s track and field athletes have been named to the Capital One Academic All-America team.

The university announced Saturday that Nathanael Franks and Andrew Pisechko received the distinction.

Franks is a decathlete who qualified for his second NCAA outdoor championships with a season best 7,343 points at the 2015 SEC Outdoor Championships. He is working on his second master’s degree. He earned his first in businesses management and holds bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and physics.

Pisechko is a middle distance runner who helped Arkansas’ 4x800-meter relay team claim the runner up spot at the 2015 Drake Relays. He has a 4.0 cumulative grade-point average in accounting.
