DESHLER, Ohio (AP) - Residents of a nursing home were evacuated because of concern about water in the building after heavy rainfall caused a creek in northwest Ohio to overflow.

The (Toledo) Blade (http://bit.ly/1FJ0lbv ) reports that 32 resident from Oak Grove Health Care Center in Deshler were evacuated after water seeped into the building and flooded the basement early Sunday morning. Residents were loaded onto four buses and three ambulances and taken to two sister facilities.

Assistant Administrator Stacie Haines said water from an overflowing creek started seeping into the facility through back hallways and the entrance around 1 a.m. Sunday.

It wasn’t clear when residents would return.

Most of the Saturday rainfall that closed some roads in Henry and other northwest Ohio counties had moved out of the area later Sunday
