DETROIT (AP) - A series of recreational and educational programs for seniors from Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties is coming to Detroit’s Belle Isle.

Officials with Senior Power Days announced details of the 11 events Wednesday on the Detroit River island park, northeast of downtown.

The sessions begin July 8 and run through Dec. 16. Each event will be held on a Wednesday.
